This one is seriously vintage: it is one of the very first 602’s ever produced. As you can see, there is no “Formula 602” mark in the embossed logo. According to Paiste, it was produced in 1960.

The previous owner contacted Paiste and this is what they answered :

Dear previous owner,

If it is a 20“ cymbal, we think that it need to be a Formula 602 20” medium Ride produced in circa 1960.

It could be possible that they omitted the logo of Formula 602 for Ludwig, but we’re not sure. Another possibilities
is that they omitted the logo for unknown reasons.
